Wallets are used for storing digital assets including NFTs and any cryptocurrencies. You will need a wallet in order to receive an NFT. Even though the  MYSTYK NFTs can be purchased in CAD pricing, you will eventually need a wallet to store the NFT you’ve purchased. The NFT you’ve purchased will automatically be deposited into your wallet within 7 days.

Most wallets are connected directly to your browser. Anytime you browse a site selling NFTs, it will ask whether you’d like to connect your wallet. Connecting your wallet to these sites enables you to transact.

An NFT is a unit of data that is stored on a blockchain. It can then be sold, purchased or otherwise traded. Each NFT is non-fungible, meaning it is entirely unique and cannot be interchanged for another. NFTs can be associated with digital or physical assets. In the case of LISABEL, the NFTs are associated with a digital asset (the digital version of a physical painting), but the collector will also receive the physical painting. NFTs act, in a way, like the digital signature of the artists. When purchasing an NFT from LISABEL, you can be sure it was created by her and you can then follow the chain of provenance as it is subsequently exchanged on the market, as the blockchain is public and accessible to all and every transaction is recorded on it. The use if NFTs in the art industry has proven its case, with Beeple selling the digital work “Everydays: the First 5000 Days” for 69.3 million USD at Christie’s in March 2021. Since then, artists from all around the world have joined the movement to make art more accessible and to allow artists to benefit from their work in a nore lucrative way.

It’s important to stay vigilant online. While there are some scams, not all NFT projects are scam. Always make sure you’re dealing directly with the artists, and never click links that are sent to you randomly. Also we urge you to never share your “private key” which gives access to your cryptocurrencies.
